Stickies is a handy utility that lets you create and place virtual sticky post-it notes right on your desktop. It lets you write and use any number of sticky notes, and it lets you fully customize the appearance of each note individually.
Stickies comes with plenty of handy additional features, functions, and options. For example, it allows for creating sticky notes that can store both text and images, it enables resizing the post-it notes or fully customizing them (colors, transparency, fonts, etc.), and it offers several ways of transferring the notes from one computer to another. These are just a few examples of the many things this application can do.
One of the things I like the most about this nice program is the fact that it allows to assign alarms to the notes, meaning they can be used to remind you of certain upcoming events, chores, meetings, etc. Furthermore, the entirety of the sticky notes created with this utility can be backed up with one single mouse click.
Though it is quite comprehensive and powerful, Stickies is also very easy-to-use and straightforward. Even complete beginners can use it without a problem.
